Vehicles subject to toll
On 1 July 2024, the toll requirement will be introduced for vehicles with a technically permissible maximum laden mass (TPMLM) of more than 3.5 tonnes. The toll requirement only applies to vehicles that are intended or used for road haulage. Vehicle combinations are only subject to tolls if the TPMLM of the towing vehicle exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
Registration
Will your vehicles be subject to tolls in the future? Then register your company and your vehicles. As a registered customer, you can have on-board units for automatic toll booking installed in the trucks.
On-Board Units
Toll Collect will provide on-board units (OBUs) for the windscreen or a DIN slot for all vehicles. To do this, please arrange an appointment with a Toll Collect service partner as soon as possible.
Craftsperson exemption
Vehicles used by craft businesses are exempt from the toll under certain conditions. Here on the Toll Collect website, craft businesses can report vehicles with a technically permissible maximum laden mass of more than 3.5 and less than 7.5 tonnes that are on the road and meet the requirements for the craftsperson exemption.
