Fast charging network for cars
With Deutschlandnetz (the German network), the federal government is ensuring a nationwide, needs-based and user-friendly fast-charging network throughout Germany. The more than 1,100 locations close any remaining "blank spots" on the charging map. Deutschlandnetz ensures that the nearest fast-charging point for cars can be reached anywhere in Germany in just a few minutes.
Toll Collect is the contract manager
900 of Deutschlandnetz locations with around 8,000 fast-charging points for cars are being built in rural, suburban and urban areas. The Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport Affairs has commissioned ten companies to set up and operate the sites. As contract manager for Deutschlandnetz, Toll Collect acts as the interface between the operators and the ministry.
As contract manager for Deutschlandnetz, Toll Collect will accompany and support the operators over the next eight years. We check construction progress, keep an eye on deadlines, document contractual services, report to the federal government, process the payment of fees and operator remuneration and monitor ongoing operations.
